Meet Our Staff

Diane Hanson, CEO

I know that God has called me to pregnancy ministry. This is my passion! I began what has become my life’s work at a pregnancy center in the upper peninsula of Michigan in 1985. Many of the clients came from Michigan Technological University which was just down the street from the office. I took the position of Executive Director in 1994 and served there for three more years. In April of 1997, Dave and I moved to Naples, Florida where I became the Executive Director of the Pregnancy Resource Center. After nine years at PRC, I thought I was retiring, but God had other plans.

In 2007 the Lord called me to reopen a pregnancy center that had been destroyed by hurricane Wilma in the community of Immokalee, Florida. The Immokalee Pregnancy Center opened its doors in August 2008. This is a very unique community with a population that is 70% Hispanic and 20% Haitian. The median income is $10,000. Over 30% of our clients consider Spanish, Creole or French their primary language. It has been a challenging and yet very rewarding journey developing this ministry in Immokalee. We are thankful for all the Lord has done… So many lives saved and changed!

Estefania (Stefy) Valencia, Center Director

Hi my name is Estefania (Stefy) Valencia, Client Services Manager. I joined Immokalee Pregnancy Center in 2013 as a Bilingual Client Advocate.

I am so grateful that the Lord sent me here and I cannot wait to see what else He has in store for this ministry. This is just the beginning for Immokalee Pregnancy Center; God has even greater things in store.

Emily Sepulveda, Administrative Assistant

Hey! My name is Emily (Emmi) Sepulveda, Administrative Assistant. I'm very grateful that I am able to work at Immokalee Pregnancy Center. Before I was hired, I volunteered many times at the center, and now I'm very grateful that I'm able to work at Immokalee Pregnancy Center. I love the bible verse Revelation 3:8 "I know all the things you do, and I have opened a door for you that no one can close. You have little strength, yet you obeyed my word and did not deny me." I believe that God has opened a door for me to be able to work in Immokalee Pregnancy Center.

Sonia Joseph, Bilingual Client Advocate English/Creole

Hi, my name is Sonia Joseph. I am a bilingual client advocate at the Immokalee Pregnancy Center. 2022 is my first year with the center.

I am so grateful for the opportunity God has given me to serve others especially the Haitian community here in Immokalee that I love dearly and am also a part of.

Gina Bonifacio, RN, Nurse Manager in Training

Hello, my name is Gina Bonifacio. I moved to Florida in 2021 with my husband and two children. I couldn't be happier to be here in sunny Florida after living my first 42 years of life in Illinois. I have been a registered nurse since 2012. I've worked as an ICU nurse, OB/GYN nurse, and aesthetics nurse. I feel that everything I have done in my career and my personal life have led me to this amazing opportunity: to provide ultrasounds and to advocate for the moms that come into Immokalee Pregnancy Center. I am so thankful for the experiences that I now know were God's plans and interventions in my life that have healed me and left me determined to help encourage expectant women and their babies as well as post abortive women. My passion in this ministry is to be the hands and feet of Jesus and to show our clients how much they and their children are loved by our Heavenly Father.
